I am a Masters student in the Anderegg lab. After getting my Bachelor’s degree in 2015, I spent 7 years leading a field crew for the US Forest Service in Southern California. The aim of the field crew was to collect data to help inform better fire management within our forests. This experience helped develop my passion for applied plant ecology and physiology. My research works with the Forest Service to better understand black oak’s (Quercus kelloggii) response to prescribed fire seasonality.
If I am not in the mountains, it is almost guaranteed that you can find me in the ocean. I love to surf, ocean swim, dive and create.
